What changes are made to the accessories in V2?
The accessories are no longer fixed in the DNA of the NFT plants. This goes hand in hand with the fact that accessories are now separate NFTs that are tradable on the marketplace and can be attached to NFT plants. For trading accessories get an independent marketplace section, where they can be purchased with the STRAINZ or SEEDZ token. The taxes for a trade are the same as for all other NFTs on our marketplace.
Accessories Migration
What happens to my plants from V1 that already have accessories?
Accessories on existing V1 plants remain in place and are migrated to V2, so no one has to worry about their purchased plants with accessories.
Attaching
A novelty is that due to the separate status of the accessories, they can be attached to other plants. If there is an accessory in your wallet, you have the possibility to attach it to any plant of your choice in your wallet.
Multiplying Accessories
How are accessories farmed or created?
As was the case in V1, accessories are duplicated by breeding.
The breed fertilizer is essential to multiply accessories. Firstly, both parents must wear the respective accessory, secondly, the average grow rate of the parents must be at least 128 and last but not least, the breed fertilizer must be used during the breeding process. If these conditions are met, the child receives with a probability of 100% the accessory of the parents. When applied to a plant, the fertilizer will be consumed.
The purpose of the 128 average grow rate mark is to prevent the accessories from being duplicated by “crap plants” with low breeding costs and flooding the market with accessories.
Furthermore, there are the three accessories earring, glasses, and joint, more accessories can and will be introduced in the future. New accessories are introduced by the admin. He mints them at the beginning and puts them on the marketplace for sale.
In summary, no additional accessories are minted at the beginning of V2, but all accessories are duplicated by the Strainzers / NFT Holders and later new accessories are provided by the admin and will be for sale on the marketplace. A new introduction is of course communicated to all Strainzers, so that no one misses the first sale of new accessories on the marketplace.
Boosts
How do the accessories benefit me?
The accessories not only look cool but also come with their own bonus. Each accessory has its own bonus, which is applied to the plant. Below are the bonuses of the respective accessories.
Earrings give the plant a static boost of +10 grow rate.
Eyeglasses give the plant a static boost of +25 grow rate.
Joints give the plant a static boost of +50 grow rate.
Therefore, the accessories also get a value for the respective holders and the value is reflected in the marketplace. The static boost is added up to the existing value of the plant. It is, therefore, possible that plants with an already full grow rate exceed the current maximum value. The static boost of the accessories is not affected by the watering aspect, which is also introduced in V2.
Composting
What is composting and how does it work?
Any plant in V2 can be composted. If a plant is composted, the owner gets back accessories that were attached to the plant. But be aware that a composted plant is irretrievably destroyed, so think carefully about which plants you want to compost and which not. Accessory NFTs can only be extracted by composting the whole plant, so they can either be traded or attached to new plants.
In addition, the owner receives a portion of SEEDZ tokens based on the grow rate of the composted plant. In the picture the process is shown schematically, the value of SEEDZ obtained varies.
If accessories appear in the marketplace, the price is set by the owners themselves. The price will probably take into account the breeding costs for duplication, composting of the plant, the respective bonus of the accessory, and the market situation of the accessories.
