Farmz will be an open-ended farming-life RPG!
Each player has a farm and can cultivate the environment, harvest fields, mine raw materials, craft new improvements for your character and go striding in dungeons to fight enemies and loot new items. The game is designed in 2D pixel style.
Character
Everyone has the opportunity to develop their own character with different features. First, choose the outfit of your farmer, give him clothes, matching hair and other accessories. Next choose your class which determines your abilities and combat type.
There will be a skill system in the game, with different abilities of your respective character, which can be leveled up.
Armor and Weapons with random attributes can be crafted and found in dungeons to further improve your character!
Transaction Chain and Game mechanics
The game will run on its own chain. All interactions will be represented by transactions, and the costs for these transactions will be very low.
The chain will be used exclusively for the transactions of the game.
The own chain has the advantage that there are no coding restrictions due to Solidity, which makes the development more flexible and faster than in other crypto projects.
We call our own chain Farmz-Chain.
When initially registering on the chain, you can use your MetaMask account, which will be assigned a unique ID on the Farmz Chain. You can then use your MetaMask wallet to log in to the chain again and again.
For each interaction with the environment, a transaction is executed on the Farmz-Chain. Each interaction with the environment costs a small transaction fee and energy from your character. Once the energy is used up, your character must “sleep” and after a set time you can go back out to your fields and farm them.

Basic dungeon system (Solo and 5-Player)

Bridge to other chains
There will only be Farmz Assets on the Farmz Chain. However, the currency and some in-game items used will also be available on BSC, Matic and Ethereum in the shape of ERC-1155 NFTs!
What happens with Strainz
Many of you will surely ask yourselves now, what will happen to Strainz and what will happen next. This is exactly the question we asked ourselves when we were going through our options.
We can give you the following on the way:
We want to grow the community, get more reach, and therefore move away from the weed theme. The RPG game offered the perfect opportunity to do this, we can better advertise and be more open with posts and content without being blocked. The Strainz V3 version out right now will be the final version.
Of course we don’t want to leave the great Strainz community out to dry, so your STRAINZ and SEEDZ tokens as well as your NFTs will find a way into the new game.
The crux of the matter is to find a middle ground for the existing community and new investors that both parties can live with. We know our Strainz root and don’t want to neglect it, but at the same time we don’t want to look unattractive to new investors if there is too much of an advantage. We are still working on finding a suitable solution, so there are no details yet on exactly what this union and the strategy will look like.
But we all agree that we want to keep the STRAINZ community in the game and that you will have the possibility to convert your Strainz assets into Farmz assets.
We know this is big news for you, but we look forward to your input.
Current Developement Progress
The core execution engine of the Farmz-Chain is already inplace and provides a framework for further building of the game! We started hiring graphics designers for the game assets and looking for other game developers aswell.
We will start a first testnet of the chain in the next week, to test performance and the metamask login procedure!
